We had a Great Time visiting Friends in Boone, IA.

Thanks Johnston's for a Marvelous Meal & Fun Time. We love you dearly!

We also visited the Boone & Scenic Railray! Micah & Grandpa were in their glory seeing and riding on the trains.

Grandma had a good time with the "lil' trooper."

On the ride "out" the steam engine was very close to the car where we rode. When the whistle blew Micah was actually a little scared. When the engine was on the other end it was more fun for him when he heard the whistle.

While we waited in the depot he watched the model train go around the station and played with the Thomas layout in the gift shop. He did come away with a few treasures courtesy of Grandma & Grandpa.

Silver Beach @ Covenant Pines

Micah & mom joined the Powell's at Silver Beach/Covenant Pines in McGregor, MN for the weekend. It was like going "home" for me as spent so many years as a camper and on staff there...in fact, some of the campers my parents spend the week with are ones that were there 16 years ago when Silver Beach started! It was GREAT!!!!

However, Micah didn't mind that it was chilly...he still went in!...


...and went in AGAIN!

So...he played!

His Uncle Jim & Aunt Crystal were there too...but we missed a pix with them...next year!
