Como Park

We went with my Barb's family to Como Park for Father's Day. Micah wanted to go on the train but he wasn't big enough...so Steve went with him!
(who could be having more fun!?!)

This was Micah's first experience with Amusement Rides. I don't think he had too much trouble with them.

By the end of the day...he was a natural!
Ohhhh...and he did like the animals too!

Twins Game!

For Father's Day we went with Steve's family to the Twins Game.

Micah sat in the seats for the first 4 innings...the last 5 we took turns doing laps around the concourse with him.

Visit to Dalton, MN

Micah and Daddy running around the small town of Dalton, MN
Steve liked the Tractors...Micah liked to Run
and he liked the train.....a LOT!

We rode on the train...

...SEVERAL times!
Yes, my child's favorite dvd right now is 2009 Backyard Railroads. Yes...there are 3 dvds in the set...we watch them daily...sometimes multiple times daily. He wants "ch--ains" or "choo000". It is a life saver for the last 1/2 hour of the car-ride. We now know where all the backyard layouts are in the Denver, CO area!

Another 4th of the Month

Ok...so posting in July slipped right by. It was a bit wild as Steve has been taking a Logic class in Minneapolis (Bloomington) on Monday nights & Wednesday nights for the last 5 weeks. Tomorrow night is his final...[insert prayer here!]. He was actually in the cities from Monday through Thursday while Micah and I stayed in Fergus Falls. He had a Fantastic person watching him while I worked during the day. Annalise & Micah had all kinds of adventures which he LOVED. They went to parks, restaurants, stores, walks, swims, play dates, Library, you name it! He had a blast! We are thankful the month is over however.

This week Steve jumped back into the school thing here with Greek starting yesterday. It's a bit crazy for the beginning of this week as after his class yesterday we drove to Mpls so he could go to his class there, then back this morning in time for his Greek class here. Tomorrow we will hold that same schedule. We're trying to give him some study/sleep time on the commute. It also gives Micah and I a chance to visit some people while he's in class.

I'll share more with photos hopefully soon...for now...imagine a little blue-eyed, blond haired boy with some sort of scratch or bruise on him from some sort of running/falling/tripping incident...he's too fast for his own little body! He's also known to blurt out "chains" (meaning TRAINS), guck (truck), Choooo (again for Train), Dat (dad), daddy, mom, mommamoma, yeS (he's pretty good with enunciation on that word!), no, up, moor (more). He keeps us entertained for sure!!! We love him!

Can't believe it's August already!?! Where did the month go?
Thanks for your prayers...hope to post more soon!
